NSW: Interim water chief named =2

Mr Sartor said the former chief executive had been "very supportive of the (Sydney
Water) reform plans".

"But the board formed the view ... that they did not have sufficient confidence in
his continuing leadership."

Mr Robinson's dismissal was not connected to an Independent Commission Against Corruption
(ICAC) investigation into his conduct, Mr Sartor said.

The ongoing ICAC inquiry was launched after a public contract was awarded by Sydney
Water to an architect who had done work for Mr Robinson.
