Fed: Beazley rules out scrapping health rebate

Opposition Leader KIM BEAZLEY has been forced to rule out scrapping the 30 per cent
health insurance rebate as the government steps up its scare campaign over Labor's tax
plans.

For the third day running Mr BEAZLEY has refused to rule out raising income taxes to
pay for his commitment to rollback the GST without cutting funding to the states.
