NSW: Ledger simply doesn't want the attention: Gilliam

Acclaimed film director TERRY GILLIAM has compared HEATH LEDGER with JOHNNY DEPP ..

saying the Australian actor simply isn't the sort of guy who likes attention.

Media have increasingly focused on LEDGER's private life in the past year .. particularly
since he was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of a gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain.

GILLIAM says LEDGER is one of the greatest actors he's ever worked with .. adding he'd
be happy to cast the Australian in any of his future films.
