ABIX via COMTEX) -- The .Au Domain Administration (auDA) has withdrawn provisional accreditation from Internet Name Group (ING). Chris Disspain, CEO of Australia's domain name regulator, justified the auDA's action by saying that ING's conduct made it doubtful whether the company was able to comply with requirements imposed by .auDA on registrars. ING is currently being investigated by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. The commission decided that the matter was serious enough to take the company to court.
