Fed: ACCI says ACTU wage rise will cost jobs, fuel inflation
CANBERRA, Feb 5 AAP - Award wage increases of almost $25 a week would cost jobs, fuelinflation and add pressure for an interest rate rise, the key employers group said today.
Responding to the ACTU submission for the 2003 national wage case sent to the AustralianIndustrial Relations Commission today, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)chief executive Peter Hendy said the claimed increase of $24.60 a week should be rejected.
